Material Description

Pasco County Christmas Tree Recycling

Help the environment – return your tree to the earth.

If your Christmas tree is a live one, please plant it. If it’s not, then it’s time to recycle your tree! After the holidays, remove all tinsel, metal hooks and decorations from your tree and drop it off at one of the following locations during normal business hours. Do this from December 26, 2009 through January 9, 2010. The trees will be chipped and made into mulch for landscaping purposes.

Please recycle and CURB YOUR BLUES!   If you get twice-a-week garbage pickup, you are already paying for recycling service. You can recycle from the convenience of your home. Put all your recyclables in the same blue bag and put the bag out on the curb on your regular blue bag pickup day (check with your garbage hauler for your blue bag schedule). You can recycle metal food cans, aluminum cans, clear, green and brown glass bottles and jars, and plastic containers coded #1 and #2.   Please rinse and remove caps before recycling.
